JAF Renováveis structures and operates Renewable Energy Communities for municipalities, neighbourhoods, residential blocks and business parks. Solar generation shared locally, with a measurable benefit for each consumer.
A Renewable Energy Community (CER) lets several consumers share locally generated solar power – cutting bills, adding value to the area and reducing dependence on the traditional grid. We structure, license, install and operate the community from end to end.
- Technical and legal assessment – feasibility, sizing, internal rules, member contracts and the relationship with the grid operator.
- Ongoing operation – running the metering platform, allocating surplus, billing, reporting and optimisation across the life of the community.

What a CER typically delivers.
Typical ranges from communities already in operation, not a guaranteed outcome. The figure for any given project depends on the consumption profile, installed capacity, number of members and the tariff in force, and is established in the feasibility study.
A community still
